Despite threats of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Guangzhou group has decided to build a soccer stadium for the china’s Champion soccer team, Guangzhou Evergrande. It has the shape of a lotus flower with a seating capacity of 100,000, which cost $1.69 billion.

The massive soccer stadium will be in the Guangzhou province. According to china.org.cn the stadium’s capacity would surpass Camp Nou.

The Guangzhou football stadium will have a seating capacity of 100,000, it’s floor area would be 150,000 square meters. The Evergrande Group, the owner of the football club is investing $1.69 billion to build the stadium and sports complex.

The construction is expected to be completed before December 2020.
