Call for Applications: ACEP Africa Climate Academy 2024 (Fully-Funded)

The Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) is excited to announce the launch of its fully funded Africa Climate Academy 2024. This inaugural initiative is designed to reshape discussions and foster education on critical issues like climate change, energy transition, and the future of sustainable energy in Africa.

Scheduled to take place from October 7th to October 11th, 2024 in Accra, Ghana, the program will bring together a select group of policymakers, civil society leaders, academics, and media professionals from across the continent. These participants will delve deep into the challenges Africa faces due to oil dependence and learn about the incredible opportunities that alternative energy sources can offer.

Program Overview

The Africa Climate Academy is a one-week educational initiative that offers an immersive learning experience. Its mission is to equip African leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to influence public discourse and policy regarding the future of energy in Africa.
